History

The home used to look far more rustic, as sometime between 2012 and 2016, the home was re-sided to have different colored shingles.

201 Lansdowne Road

201 Lansdowne was built at least as early as 1905, as the home of Dr. Roberts', which at the time would have been this address, was mentioned when a guest by the name of Peter H. THomson went missing after wandering out of it.

1910 census: Dr. Isaac, later of 12 Township Line Road, is living with his family, a boarder, and Virginian maid of African-American descent.

Before moving to Township Line, the Roberts' lived in the home at least as late as 1913, since they're listed as residing in the home at the time of the 1913 Map of Haverford Township atlas. By 1920, another doctor had moved there, this time Dr. Broadbelt, who may have lived in the general Llanerch area as early as 1904 but almost certainly lived at the address by 1917.

1920 census: Dr. Leedon is living with his wife and maid of African-American descent.

Leedon died in 1951, and by 1955, Dr. Arthur Reynolds (along with his wife, a nurse who worked at his practice) owned the home, and throughout their ownership until 1990 a slew of people would live in other parts of the house. This includes the Jones family in 1965, the Lacks in 1974, John Riehle in 1968, and Ellwod Martin, who died in 1961.

The Reynolds' sold to Faezeh Behjat in 1990 for $170,000. She sold the home to James Stroh in 2015 for $190,000, who sold the home in 2017 for $425,000.
